KARACHI: Pakistan Tehreek Insaf will hold a huge public gathering at Mithi town- the district headquarter of Tharparkar- on Thursday, November 04, 2021, as a part of PTI’s mass contact campaign in Sindh.
The Central Vice President Pakistan Tehreek Insaf and Leader of the Opposition in Sindh Assembly, Haleem Adil Sheikh, in a statement issued here on Tuesday, announced that Foreign Minister and central vice chairman PTI, Makhdoom Shah Mehmood Qureshi, will address the event.
Pakistan Tehreek Insaf has geared up it mass contact campaign in the province and public gatherings and workers’ conventions were being organized in different cities and towns of the province, Haleem Adil Sheikh said.
The event at Mithi coincides with the religious festival of Diwali and PTI workers will take part in Diwali celebrations to express solidarity with the Hindu community, he stated.
The Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi along with other leaders of PTI will lead a rally from Karachi to Umerkot where they will address the public, he said adding that then the rally will proceed to Mithi.
The PTI workers will warmly welcome the rally at Nuriabad, Jamshoro, Hyderabad, Tando Allahyar, Mirpurkhas and other towns en route, he said.
Haleem Adil Sheikh said that public gathering at Mithi will prove the last nail in the political coffin of PPP. “We are going to thrust a final blow to the crumbling wall of corrupt Sindh government,” Haleem pronounced.
He also censured Sindh government for its poor performance and said that CM Murad Ali Shah’s claims of development in the province were just tall tale and Shah must be ashamed of his mere lip service.
People operating corruption systems were making false claims of development while only the corrupt systems flourished during PPP’s 13-year long rule, Haleem Adil Sheikh observed.
“Will Murad Ali Shah bother to mention situation of Tharparkar where children were dying of malnutrition and scarcity of drinking water while budget earmarked for RO plants was transferred to accounts of his party chairman and Ayan Ali,” Haleem remarked.
Haleem Adil also asked Murad Ali Shah, if he has the courage to tell that poor people of Sindh were carrying dead bodies of their dear ones on donkey carts and rickshaws?
Sindh government assumed that the population of the province were suffering only from cardiac diseases, he said adding that even in NICVD mafias like Naveed Qasim were appointed.
Haleem Adil Sheikh advised CM Sindh to remove the lens of servitude and visit the province with him to observe the real situation. TF Report
