ISLAMABAD: The Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P) has raised the matter of its workers’ deaths in Karachi with Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.
According to sources, the prime minister issued directives to Ayaz Sadiq and Rana Sanaullah to address the matter and the two leaders had a meeting with IT Minister Aminul Haq and Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui in Islamabad.
The interior minister decided to launch an investigation, the insiders said, adding that Sana assured the ally party leaders to bring to book the culprits.
The sources quoted the interior minister as saying that the federal government would dig into the matter with the support of the Sindh government. TF REPORT
