Bahrain commander-in-chief phones COAS, offers full support to flood victims

RAWALPINDI: Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa and Field Marshal Sheikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, Commander-in-Chief Kingdom of Bahrain, had a telephonic conversation on Wednesday.

During the conversation, the Bahrain commander-in-chief expressed his grief over the devastation caused by unprecedented floods in Pakistan and offered sincere condolence to the families of the victims, a statement issued by the Inter Services Public Relations said today.

He offered full support to the people of Pakistan. He also appreciated Pakistan Army’s efforts for rescue and relief in flood affected areas.

The COAS thanked for Kingdom if Bahrain’s support and reiterated that assistance from Pakistan’s brotherly countries shall be vital in rescue rehabilitation of the victims. TF REPORT
