Those who allowed criminals to rule are destined to be humiliated: Imran Khan

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman and former prime minister Imran Khan on Thursday said that those who allowed criminals to come to power are destined to be humiliated.

The PTI chief said on Twitter that the torture on PTI leader Senator Azam Swati for tweeting on NRO-2 is another shameful incident in the country’s history. He questioned that is it appropriate to force people to respect any individual or institution through violence and intimidation.

“The Holy Quran teaches us to respect and humiliation are solely in Allah’s jurisdiction”, the PTI chief added.

Imran Khan further said, “Those who have allowed the biggest criminals not only to evade accountability after stealing billions from the nation but to come to power again are destined to be humiliated.”

Meanwhile, addressing a big public meeting in Mardan city of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa today, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan once again attacked the institutions against giving NRO to the ruling Sharifs family in the Money Laundering case.

Imran Khan said that those who released Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif from the money laundering case of Rs16 billion should be ashamed. He termed the authorities who has given NRO to the thieves—Shehbaz Sharif and his son Hamza Shehbaz—a traitor to Pakistan.

Imran warned the ‘person’ who is giving NRO to the Sharifs and making cases against him to listen carefully that he will not back down as he will fight harder if put in jail.

He warned the institutions that not to be under the misconception that they will be respected by doing such kind of torture. TF REPORT
