Big houses, luxury vehicles of govt servants burden on poor: Ch Sarwar
LONDON: Pakistan’s economic crisis requires all political parties and leaders to sit at a table and resolve the political chaos through dialogue, said Chaudhry Sarwar former Governor Punjab and First muslim parliamentarian in United Kingdom.
He said that the expenses of the officers, living in huge houses and innumerable vehicles for protocol are nothing but a burden on the oppressed and poor people.
He said this while attending different receptions held in his honor on his arrival in Manchester City. The Events were attended by UK parliamentarians Yasmin Qureshi and Richard Bergen, Lord Mayor of Manchester Yasmin Dar, Kashmir Movement leader Raja Najabat Hussain, Power Chairperson Fame Power Zara Dean and Prince Hayat, president of UICFU UK, participated in the ceremony, representatives of political, social, religious and business community and a large number of Pakistanis from different cities of UK also participated.
Ch Sarwar said that Pakistan is going through the worst economic conditions and while we are taking more loans in order to pay back older ones, government officials have continued living in lavish houses beside using thousands of government vehicles for protocol. Chief Organizer Pakistan Muslim League further stated that our country is rich in natural resources and minerals and there is a need to benefit from them.
